“ This food is legit. The only authentic Mexican food I've found in my area. You can tell it is made with love. ”
“ Carne Asada plate is perfect food for a hungry belly or hung over. The taste is on point and it's authentic to the core. Another delicious spot that doesn't take long and also has a great SALSA BAR! ”
“ Lovely fat breakfast burrito with bacon. Fast service. The menu is quite large. Salty but great! ”
“ I regret I did not get a photo. The food was fresh and the beef was tender. I got a basic wet burrito and my husband got the bean and cheese burrito. The flavors exploded in our mouths and was truly authentic. The "Salsa" bar was amazing and had all the sides you would want. The salsa was fresh and the Picadillo was fresh and full of flavor. This was our first time there and it won t be our last! ”
“ Awesome breakfast burritos and the avocado salsa is to die for and needs to be on all the food ”
“ Food: I ordered a Carne Asada burrito and it came with rice, refried beans and onions. It was pretty amazing. It was fresh to order. The meat was super tender. Service: The workers are friendly and super helpful as this was my first time ordering here. Ambiance: it's a pretty big place so there's lots of room! ”
“ Not sure why this place has poor reviews. This place has never missed with my order and the food always taste fresh. It's as authentic as you can get here in OR City. During Fall/Winter they have champurrado (Mexican hot chocolate) and it is so delicious! Its definitely one of the regular restaurants I visit, staff is friendly and the homemade salas are a plus! ”
“ Met a friend across town for lunch here at Don Chico's. It's a fast-food-style (order at the counter, pick a table) Mexican restaurant. I am a sucker for lengua (beef tongue), so when I saw they had lengua tacos on the menu I of course had to order them. Ordered a plate of 4 tacos, and helped myself to the salsa bar while waiting. Salsa bar has a selection of salsas, peppers, limes, etc, decent. The food arrived after about 5 minutes. Tacos were very tasty. Lengua was perfectly cooked and tender. I added some of their pico de gallo salsa to it and it elevated them to perfection. Four tacos was the perfect number for this hungry guy and it's clear I'll have to be back to try other menu items when I'm on this side of town. Excellent Mexican eating here in OC. ”
